| Stock Congo Red |
| Saturate 80% ethanol with congo red and sodium chloride. |
| Let stand for 24 hours. |

Tissue sample
5µ paraffin sections of neutral buffered formalin fixed tissue are suitable.
Other fixatives are likely to be satisfactory.
