Alcian Yellow
|
Alcian yellow is not a commonly used dye, but is similar in staining characteristics to alcian blue, and can stain acid mucins yellow. It is recommended in the Leung & Gibbon method for helicobacter, where it contrasts well with the blue organisms. It has been difficult to obtain of late, although it is still manufactured. |
